Presented by In Vivo Agency After a hugely successful evening in May 2026, Aaron Parks and his trio return to New Morning in April 2027 for an unmissable night! A band that endures over the years is destined to gain depth and evolve, and this is certainly the case for Aaron Parks and the Little Big project formed by the pianist in collaboration with guitarist Greg Tuohey, bassist David Ginyard Jr., and original drummer Tommy Crane. Now that new drummer Jongkuk Kim has joined the adventure, the band is proud to present their third album, their first under the Blue Note Records label. Even more than on their previous records, this one emphasizes a collective identity and spontaneous communication with compositions not only by Parks, but also by Tuohey and Ginyard. The band has now reached a stage where it transcends genres, fluidly and subtly integrating influences from non-jazz sources. But it also takes more risks and feels more alive than ever, and, in some respects, more jazz than ever.
