Levels 1, 0: Henry Taylor exhibition
The Collection of the Musée Picasso Paris comprises over 5000 works and more than two hundred thousand archival pieces. Due to its quality, scope, and the diversity of artistic fields represented, it is the only public collection in the world that allows for both a journey through Picasso's entire painted, sculpted, engraved, and drawn work, as well as a precise evocation of the artist's creative process. From Wednesday 8 April 2026, temporary exhibition:
Henry Taylor. Where thoughts provoke
From 8 April to 6 September 2026
The Musée national Picasso-Paris will present an exhibition dedicated to Henry Taylor, one of the major figures in contemporary American painting. This exhibition, conceived with the artist himself, will encompass his entire artistic trajectory while continuing the exploration of Pablo Picasso's reception on the American scene — following exhibitions dedicated to Faith Ringgold (2023), Jackson Pollock (2024) or Philip Guston (2025), and before the major retrospective dedicated to the Harlem Renaissance movement (spring 2027).
The exhibition, spread over two floors and thirteen rooms, brings together around a hundred works — paintings, sculptures, installations — through which Henry Taylor explores the richness and complexity of the human experience. Whether they are friends, relatives, anonymous people or public figures, his compositions offer a vivid and deeply human vision of our time. Taylor creates an original, expressive, plastic, and powerful body of work - he weaves narratives
