Dialogue Jazz : Nicolas Attié - Nicolas Pauquet

For this second evening of the Clichy Creation Week, the Théâtre Rutebeuf honours two musicians who teach at the Conservatoire Léo Delibes while also developing recognised artistic careers on today's jazz scenes. The evening opens with guitarist Nicolas Attié, whose trio offers sensitive and warm jazz where composition constantly dialogues with improvisation. It's a vibrant music, driven by the musicians' attentiveness and complicity. In the second part, double bassist and composer Antonin Pauquet presents Brumes, a project acclaimed by critics and distinguished as a Jazz Magazine Revelation. At the crossroads of contemporary jazz and traditional French music, this unique quintet brings together waltzes, bourrées, and improvisations in a sound world as audacious as it is captivating. This evening is an opportunity to discover another facet of two artists who contribute daily to the life of the conservatoire while spreading their music far beyond Clichy.
