When nature becomes a work of art; Credits: KEI Throughout October, the Maurice Genevoix library hosts naturalist illustrations by artist Kei.

Fascinated by the living world, she casts a sensitive and meticulous eye on insects, these small creatures often discreet but essential to the balance of our ecosystems.

Through a series of highly precise black and white drawings, the artist reveals the richness of forms, textures, and details of the insect world.

Bumblebees, butterflies, ants, and bugs become true subjects of observation and creation, at the intersection of art and natural sciences.

This exhibition is part of our highlight event "Nature as a source of inspiration", which invites young and old to look differently at the living world around us and discover how it nourishes artists' imaginations.

And to extend this encounter, Kei will lead an illustration workshop on Saturday 28 November at 4 pm, allowing the public to discover her artistic approach and to learn about observation and naturalist drawing. Exhibition with free admission. fr or in person with your librarians.
