Festival Les Femmes s'en Mêlent

For the third consecutive year, the Théâtre Rutebeuf hosts the Les Femmes s'en mêlent festival, an unmissable event for independent music that celebrates female artists from the rock, pop, and alternative scenes.

A major figure in this edition, Mélissa Laveaux has been developing a unique body of work for nearly twenty years, at the crossroads of indie pop, folk, rock, and Caribbean music. A French-Canadian artist of Haitian origin, she explores questions of identity, memory, emancipation, and social justice through her songs, with rare freedom of tone and intensity.

Carried by a magnetic stage presence, she delivers concerts where energy meets intimacy, where the power of the lyrics encounters enchanting melodies.

The evening will open with Alice Lewis, a singer-songwriter with a delicate and hypnotic universe. Hosted in the intimate setting of the Conservatoire Léo Delibes auditorium, this evening celebrates the female voices shaping today's music and illustrates the Theatre's commitment to emerging creation and artistic discovery.
