This year, the Musique(s) Rive Gauche festival presents an edition aimed at young ears: La Récré

Since 2020, the Musique(s) Rive Gauche festival has been presenting creative music in ever-new formats and for all audiences. This year, our edition is aimed particularly at young audiences, from toddlers to teenagers, with three musical shows.

A family dinner. And in the middle of the living room, a giant acacia tree. In Avec les pieds, Jeanne Desoubeaux blends theatre and music to compose a funny and joyfully offbeat tale, where the irruption of the Other disrupts even the most established habits. At the Moute family's, everything starts as usual. Or almost. Because this tree, which appeared without warning, upsets the family balance. The Father opposes it, clinging to his certainties. The Mother lets it happen, with an inexplicable lightness. The Child, a strange and luminous figure, opens another path, one of curiosity. Written by Nicole Genovese, with live music composed by Jérémie Arcache, this burlesque and sensitive fable makes this vegetal emergence a motor for transformation. The tree becomes that which displaces, worries, and forces a change of perspective. Accessible to young spectators, this mischievous narrative plays on contrasts, between humour and unease, absurdity and emotion. An invitation to welcome the unexpected, and to look differently at what grows, there, in the midst of our lives.
