As a storm threatens, Richard, a director on the way back, comes to give his first theatre class in a prison. He hopes for a large attendance, which would lead to other classes - and other fees - but only two inmates show up: Kevin, a young hothead, and Ange, a silent fifty-year-old, who is only there to accompany his friend. Richard, assisted by one of his former actresses - incidentally his ex-wife - and by an inexperienced social worker, chooses to give his class anyway…
