In this intimate and refined format, focused on listening and dialogue, the two musicians develop a space of freedom where original compositions and repertoire standards intersect, allowing room for improvisation, exchange, and sound exploration.
Jean-Jacques Elangué, a saxophonist from the French-speaking jazz scene, performs in projects that blend contemporary jazz with Afro-Caribbean colours, with a playing style centred on sound and improvisation.
He has shared the stage with artists such as Tom McClung, Alain Jean-Marie, Tony Allen, Emmanuel Djob & Afro soul gang, Damon Albarn, Manu Dibango. And many others.
Josselin Arhiman, pianist and composer, has forged a path between modern jazz, Creole music, and improvised practices, through numerous collaborations on the jazz and world music scenes.
