THE BARBOTEUR'S BEAUTIFUL SUNDAYS As summer arrives, the Barboteur takes up its Sunday residence in Pantin. Every Sunday, the Barboteur welcomes you to its terrace with concerts, a chill food & drinks corner and a fun area for a friendly and warm atmosphere. For this tenth edition of Beau Dimanche, the Barboteur invites Break Ya Bones. Beautiful Sundays are by the water.

Break Ya Bones, literally “break your bones”, is a call to enter the dance and trance of afrobeat. It is also a reference to Fela Kuti’s song “Confusion Break Bones” about the broken bones of opponents of the Nigerian regime.

From Paris, Bordeaux, Yaoundé, Antananarivo or the 93, the group is a cosmopolitan ensemble of eleven musicians who draw their inspiration from the legacy of the father of afrobeat while giving pride of place to cultural blending.

With a hypnotic groove rhythm section, a hard-hitting brass section and two explosive singers, the heart of Break Ya Bones beats to the rhythm of energetic, committed and generous afrobeat.

To extend the evening, DJ La Bise will take over with a 100% vinyl DJ set featuring warm and groovy sounds. Behind her decks, she composes an eclectic musical journey where dancing rhythms, rare gems and sunny grooves follow one another with elegance.
