By Nicolas DÉGREMONT Directed by Frédéric CHERBOEUF With Nicolas DÉGREMONT accompanied by Zoé SAUBAT on cello Duration: 1h15 Inspired by a true story as moving as it is incredible, Le Plancher retraces the destiny of Jean Crampilh-Broucaret, known as Jeannot, a Béarnese farmer whose raw work was miraculously found in a Pyrenean farm.
In 1971, after his mother's death, he engraved 208 words on a wooden floor, a cry of pain and revolt. On a faithful replica of this floor, Jeannot comes back to life in a powerful and poetic show. A sensory experience that questions marginality and oblivion.
Because art survives pain, it was essential to make this dark work an anthem to life and creation!
