Since his debut in the 70s, Philippe Lavil has built a popular repertoire, carried by a unique identity: that of a warm French variety music, tinged with the colours and rhythms of his native Antilles. Who has never sung "Il tape sur des bambous", "Elle préfère l'amour en mer" or even "Kolé Séré", this duo that became cult with Jocelyne from the group Kassav'? Songs that stand the test of time without aging a day and that continue to make people dance!
Today, Philippe wants to rediscover the closeness that has always been at the heart of his story with the public. On stage, surrounded by talented musicians, he revisits his greatest hits in an acoustic, simple and authentic format. Another way to hear these songs we know by heart, to rediscover their melodies, their stories and their emotion.
