Overview
A burlesque fireworks display from Haydn to James Brown: a concert at 200 km/h! Éclisse Totale aims to be a musical and visual theatre show for the general public which, through humour and movement, offers an unusual entry point into classical music. The show therefore exploits less the register of the "musical gag" than that of situational comedy, set against a musical repertoire often unknown to the general public, as it is composed of some of the greatest pages of the string quartet. It offers the spectator a journey into the fantastical universe of the classical musician who dreams of breaking free from a rigour that constantly catches up with him.
