Experience a year in the life of Frédéric, a clumsy, bohemian forty-something who struggles with his climate anxiety until he becomes a nationally renowned activist. Une année de réchauffement is a comedy, with a dramatic undertone, whose gallery of characters subtly and humorously reflects our emotional upheavals in the face of our era's climate challenge. Between a partner who leaves him, a climate-sceptic father-in-law, and an employer who champions greenwashing, his doubt-ridden crusade to stop the carbon counter goes off-piste... Then comes one protest too many, where Jeanne, a police commissioner, takes him into custody for what could be called a new beginning... For both of them, and for all of us.
