In a plexiglass box barely wider than herself, contortionist Alice Rende invents a dizzying journey, where every gesture seeks to outwit the boundaries of confinement. Body to body with four transparent walls, she slides, rises, composing a dance suspended between momentum and resistance, on the edge of a constantly threatened balance. Alice Rende unfolds a physical and poetic odyssey, carried by the sole strength of her arms. She climbs, falls, holds her breath against the wall, chaining slides, suspensions and embraces with the material. In this cage open to the sky, every gesture becomes an attempt at escape, a breath against constraint. At the crossroads of dance and acrobatics, Alice Rende sketches an intimate cartography of the desire for freedom. Falls, new beginnings, precarious impulses: her body traces the obstinate vertigo of an endless escape. This show is part of the Village de cirque #22 programme.
