Anaïs RAMOS

Anais, cradled by Cuban rhythms, began her career alongside great names in music. From Cuba to Paris, her captivating voice conquers audiences.

Born in Havana, Anaïs found the source of her musical passion within her family, lulled by the rhythm of boleros sung by her grandmother and the maternal piano resonating throughout the house. Fascinated since childhood by the neighbourhood bands performing opposite her home, fate intervened, and she, in turn, was spotted by those who had inspired her so much. Her career began alongside great names such as Odelkis Reve, El Cabo, and Chamiso, performing throughout Cuba with Arnaldo y su Talisman orchestra, and also making a discovery in the entertainment world as part of the Havana Night team. Artistic encounters led her to discover Europe: after Luxembourg and Spain, Anaïs discovered France, and Paris, the City of Lights. There, she met her compatriot Yosvani Quiros, with whom she collaborated in the famous group Fiesta Cubana. The charm of this young woman with a soulful and captivating voice quickly won over the Parisian audience. She then performed on major Parisian stages, in Argenteuil, at the Backup, and at the New Morning. Other artists from very different backgrounds decided to work with this singer with raw sensitivity; diverse collaborations were formed. From her collaboration with Laurent Hounsavi, Anaïs re-established the link between the Caribbean and Africa, and performed in Hong Kong in 2010.
