Vocal Jazz — Originally from New York, Angie Pastor enchants the 38 Riv with sensitive and mischievous interpretations, combining jazz standards and original compositions.

CNSMDP 38Riv is partnering with the jazz department of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP) for a new series of weekly jam sessions, every Thursday evening.

Conceived as a true laboratory for musical practice, these evenings offer students the opportunity to perform regularly in the conditions of a professional stage, while fostering encounters with the community of musicians on the Parisian scene.

Each event begins with a short concert presented by students from the jazz department, before giving way to an open jam session.

This collaboration is also an opportunity to experiment with an original format, at the crossroads of concert, transmission, and collective practice, where the rules of the jam are built in a spirit of sharing, listening, and goodwill.
