An artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, he comes to present a programme of great expressive power. The melodic purity of Scarlatti introduces Mozart's highly operatic Sonata No.
14, followed by the Four Sketches cycle by American composer Amy Beach, inspired by verses from French Romantic poetry. Préat will take on another narrative challenge by tackling the Everest that is Schubert's Sonata No. 20.
