Hailing from Finland, ATLAS is a resolutely Nordic phenomenon of modern metal. Since their formation in 2015, both the band's sound and their striking visual universe have evolved into a fusion of crushing heaviness and captivating vulnerability.
After years of hard work, the band has found its definitive line-up, composed of members who have dedicated their lives and energy to music. In the space of a decade, ATLAS's sound has developed and refined to become what it is today: a unique blend of genres and sonic influences.
The band has toured across Europe alongside acts such as Orbit Culture, Caligula’s Horse, Monuments, VOLA, Adept, Electric Callboy, Kadinja and We Butter The Bread With Butter. ATLAS has also shared the stage with dozens of bands at numerous European festivals.
With their new album Sunder (February 2026, Odyssey Music Network), ATLAS makes a powerful return: a carefully crafted successor to their 2018 top 10 album Primitive, and the highly acclaimed Ukko (2021), both released on SPV Records.
Supported by London / Helsinki-based Backbone Management, ATLAS continues to push the boundaries of extreme music.
