Caleb Shomo revealed to us the “Sick Disgusting Aggressive Disease Below The Surface”. In a painful and solitary catharsis, driven by reckless determination, the frontman and multi-instrumentalist forged Beartooth into a true weapon.

In 2026, almost ten years after the gold record for “Hated” and the platinum record for “In Between”, Caleb is finally… free. The first major release of Beartooth's new partnership with Fearless Records, “Free” is a single of seismic scale.

Engaging, melodic, powerful, loud, and crushing all at once, “Free” launches a brand new era. Beartooth was born in 2013 in Caleb's Ohio basement. He self-produced and played all instruments on an arsenal of angry yet melodic tracks, fuelled by reflection and confession.

Beartooth remains his message in a bottle, cast into an eager ocean from an island made of depression, repression, and confusion.

Shomo's uncompromising insistence on evolving, however intimidating or dangerous that trajectory may be, acts as a creative, musical, and emotional balm for a legion of listeners — a balm that sparkles, radiates, and shakes as much as it heals.

The discography, up to “The Surface” in 2023 (which debuted at #1 on Billboard's Alternative and Hard Music charts, and #2 on the Album Sales, Rock Albums, and Vinyl Albums charts), has woven a grand narrative.

“Might Love Myself” reached #1 on Billboard's Mainstream Airplay and Mediabase charts. “I Was Alive” was the 6th most played song on rock radio in 2024, and Beartooth was among the top 10 most programmed artists. In 2026, Beartooth is an even more powerful creature.
