Floraison is born from a desire: to make heard a jazz infused with Caribbean memories, carried by rhythm, organic pulsations, the body, and the freedom of improvisation. Around Béatrice Civaton, four musicians with whom she explores and brings to life a repertoire of original compositions where rhythms circulate freely between aesthetics, Afro-Atlantic colours, and the jazz language dialogue with freedom. The voice naturally finds its place, sometimes melody, sometimes breath, sometimes pulsation. Béatrice Civaton thus continues the path opened with Racines Sonores. We find the questions of memory and transmission that run through her work, but with a more collective energy, carried by play, movement, and encounter. Launched in 2012, this regular event gives carte blanche to young musicians to explore, create, and share their universe on stage. A promising and supportive slot where creativity and excitement have no limits.
