Black Stone Cherry is an American band formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky. Composed of Chris Robertson (vocals, guitar), Ben Wells (guitar), Jon Lawhon (bass) and John Fred Young (drums), the quartet quickly established itself on the rock scene with a sound that skillfully fuses Southern rock, hard rock, and touches of blues. Their influences, drawing from legends like Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Black Sabbath, are felt in their compositions, offering a blend that is both powerful and melodic. Their eponymous debut album, released in 2006, laid the groundwork for their success, notably with tracks like « Lonely Train  » and « Hell and High Water  » which have become staples of their live performances.
