Inspired by American stand-up, the album blends soul, jazz, rap, and musical comedy, bringing together the voices of figures like Dave Chappelle or Dulcé Sloan with those of emerging comedians.
Using archives and footage shot in New York and Chicago, Chassol harmonises reality to reveal its hidden notes and compose a choral, musical, and committed narrative. Funny How? is scheduled for release on 22 May 2026. In Paris at the Folies Bergère on 30 November 2026.
