The Pierre Marcus trio offers a lively and intimate jazz experience, blending original compositions with revisited standards. Long-time friends, the three musicians share a true musical connection, built on listening, exchange, and inspired improvisations. Pierre Marcus is an active double bassist and composer on the French jazz scene. He plays as a sideman in numerous projects while also developing his own groups. He is the leader of several albums ("Longue Attente", "Pyrodance", "Following the Right Way", "Second Life"), focused on his compositions with a modern approach to jazz. He also held a residency for 7 years at 38Riv, where he regularly played and invited many musicians.
