Plural masculinities are revealed in CREDO, where eight dancers guided by choreographer Nicolas Huchard, in collaboration with Matteo Gheza, question and subvert gender assignments. Between grace and power, this elegant troupe in elaborate costumes forges new, subversive and joyful ways of being men.

"I grew up on the fringes of an image of masculinity that didn't resemble me. " This is Nicolas Huchard's starting point for creating the captivating CREDO.

The choreographer with a pop style, who has long worked in the fields of fashion and music – he has choreographed Madonna, Lady Gaga and Aya Nakamura – brings together eight performers to embody a multiplicity of nuances of masculinity.

On a metamorphic stage, at once a dance floor, a runway, and a pole dance podium, dynamic and fluid choreographies alternately embrace and defy gender norms.

In this reflection that exposes virility as a myth, bodies bear witness to internal struggles between identities shaped by and opposing social injunctions.
