Music chases away hatred from those who are without love. Pablo Casals’ words are immortal. Salle Gaveau partners with the Prades festival for an evening tribute to the Catalan pacifist cellist, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated in 2026. Guest of honour, Edgar Moreau performs Bach’s most luminous suite before joining a quartet of young talents from the Casals festival in a Schubertian masterpiece: the quintet for two cellos. A concert dedicated to transmission and the intergenerational power of music.
