The Flamenco en France association is delighted to welcome the young cantaor El Turry and guitarist Miguel Ángel Cortés, both rooted in Granada, for two flamenco recitals that promise to be exceptional once again!
The cantaor Antonio « El Turry » is the son of guitarist Ricardo de la Juana and bailaora Rosa la Canastera. At the age of 10, he joined his father's company and began his professional career.
At 18, he left Almuñécar for Granada, where he started working in the province's main tablaos.
Since then, despite his young age, he has worked with many big names in the flamenco world: Eva Yerbabuena, Niño Josele, Marina Heredia, Juan de Juan and Antonio « El Farru », among others.
He will be accompanied al toque by Miguel Angel Cortes, a great guitarist from Granada whom we previously hosted for a solo recital in 2025.
Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself by accompanying such prestigious flamenco artists as Enrique Morente, Carmen Linares, José Mercé, Chano Lobato, José de La Tomasa, Chiquetete, El Pele, Miguel Poveda, Estrella Morente y Marina Heredia, and many more.
Recently, he has been heard alongside Esperanza Fernández, Arcángel and Rocío Márquez. He has also collaborated with different music styles, including Mick Taylor, Luz Casal, Antonio Orozco, Manuel Carrasco, Kiko Veneno and Diana Navarro, among others.
Both will give a master class on Saturday 17 October 2026 during their visit to Paris. Théâtre Thénardier in Montreuil.
