Overview
Formed in 1989 in Cinderford, Forest of Dean, England, EMF achieved rapid global success with “Unbelievable”, an iconic 90s hit. Their debut album, Schubert Dip (1991), immediately established their unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic music.
After the albums Stigma (1992) and Cha Cha Cha (1995), the band split up, before reuniting occasionally in the early 2000s. However, the death of bassist Zac Foley in 2002 halted this momentum.
EMF truly took off again in 2020 with the anniversary box set From Us to You, followed by the album Go Go Sapiens (2022), and then The Beauty and the Chaos (2024), which was critically acclaimed.
Today, the band continues to create, tour, and gather its audience with the same energy and passion that made them successful. EMF will be in Paris for their Schubert Dip Tour on December 4th at New Morning!
