Havana Jazz Club

Following the success of the centenary concert by the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Clichy, which drew nearly 900 spectators to Clichy Hall, the Théâtre Rutebeuf is once again taking over the venue for a major event dedicated to jazz, swing, and Cuban music.

For the occasion, two emblematic ensembles from Clichy's musical scene are joining forces. The BBCC opens the evening with the communicative energy of a big jazz orchestra, featuring vibrant brass, captivating rhythms, and inspired improvisations on genre standards.

Then, the Orquesta MI SOL transports the audience to the warm rhythms of Cuba. Accompanied by a pair of dancers, musicians and spectators are invited to share a true "Ron Danzón", the Cuban version of a tea dance, where music is as much lived as it is listened to.

Conceived as a grand festive and popular event, Havana Jazz Club celebrates the richness of amateur practices and the dynamism of Clichy's musical associations. An invitation to listen, dance, and share an afternoon in the colours of Havana.
