When the idea for an album emerges, often, I don't see it coming. I move forward with two or three ideas in mind, and I'm often surprised by what happens. For "Spirales", things began one day in June 2024 during a walk in my hometown, Provins, in Seine-et-Marne.

I had just walked through a public garden where, as a child, I often went with my mother. A text then appeared, colliding these childhood walks with the moment I was living.

I had already written songs about childhood, but the way of approaching the subject seemed different here, less laden with pathos. The resulting track, "La roue du Jardin Garnier", thus set the tone for the album.

JeanneTo is a pop-punk voice that invites itself into the chaos of the rave, on provocative rhythms that push the unleashed genres of the 90s to their extremes: pounding bass, drum blasts, saturated and addictive synths.

Beatmaker and guitarist, Cadillac Prod shapes all the productions and accompanies JeanneTo on stage. His instrumentals confront the energy of the party with the darkness of new-wave punk. Together, they primarily seek to create what doesn't yet exist.

When you don't fit in anywhere, you can play whatever you want, everywhere. Between a diary and protest slogans, Jeanne doesn't sing alone. There are people around, and you are part of it.

By calling love and despair by their names, she makes the song a common space for those who feel lost, somewhere, in the middle of everything. Listening to JeanneTo means letting yourself be submerged by toxic and poetic layers until you are completely engulfed.

You no longer know how you got there, but it's okay. It's too late to leave, so all that's left is to dance.
