Gathered away from society, Modeste, Clara, Sorana, Babou, Noé, Phillys and Paulette take the time to rebuild themselves. They form a funny and cheerful ensemble, somewhere between a spiritual retreat and a political utopia.
Everything takes place in a residence for women. Seven residents cheerfully cultivate their capacity for wonder with the help of Claudia, the devoted director.
Through manual and artistic activities, as well as the practice of discussion, they try, as best they can, to master the art of joy. L’Odeur des tissus offers an empathetic and amused look at a community whose harmony is always in tension.
