Overview
1st edition of the 1st Cross-Disciplinary Arts festival on the Petite Ceinture at Porte d'Orléans
A cross-disciplinary arts festival in the style of a cultural marathon, set between the rails of the old Petite Ceinture railway, the former Montrouge station (le Poinçon), and Maison Le Kinff.
From Saturday 10 October (11 am to 1 am) to Sunday 11 October (11 am to 9 pm), come and step aside, and live to the rhythms of intersecting arts, giving rise to varied, lively, and beneficial exchanges!
For this first edition, Renversements (Paris 14) has invited several cultural actors from the 14th arrondissement for an uninterrupted sequence of concerts, musical graffiti, musical and choreographic performances, round tables, artistic wanderings, ephemeral libraries, presentations of works in progress, open stages for conservatory students and local residents, to collectively reflect on Travel, forced or not.
Several parts will follow one another, punctuated by festive moments of exchange: "Jazz! ", or transatlantic relations through the prism of American musicians' and authors' travels in Europe, "Cloisons?
", around the question of deprivation of liberty, forced journeys linked to wars and totalitarian regimes, and the relationship to truth when transmitting testimonies, "Territoires… " and "Racines?
", around migrations between Europe and Africa (human but not only), but also exchanges across the world, the feeling of belonging to a territory that is not one's own initially, of making an ephemeral territory one's own, and "Voyage!
", an ode to the road-trip and emancipation through travel.
