Their families have hated each other for generations. Their marriage has always been impossible, but they made a pact: if they are not happy at 40, they will get married no matter the cost. The date is set: a secret wedding in a luxury hotel at the end of the world.

But Julie's mother and Romain's father arrive unexpectedly, still determined to prevent this union. The atmosphere quickly becomes stormy in the bungalow, but also outside as a storm approaches rapidly, forcing everyone to remain confined.

The evening takes a turn when a journalist is found murdered in the neighbouring bungalow. He held compromising information on each of them. All have a motive, all become suspects.

A family investigation then ensues, punctuated by suspicions, accusations, revelations, betrayals, and other settling of scores. Masks fall, alliances are made and unmade. One night. One family. One crime. And a marriage to save... or to bury.
