First new release in 7 years, Vertige du Seum marks the grand return of singer Tété. Through this track, the singer-songwriter tells the story of a man's transformation who, after hitting rock bottom, picks himself up for his children, a narrative prelude to a new conceptual yet deeply human album, where emotion dominates. The track captures the emotional vertigo of a saturated era — the sound of screaming silence — when the intimate becomes universal. This single inaugurates a new artistic cycle: a free, unformatted work that accompanies rather than comments. Because smiling is hoping, a way of introducing his double album “Une Semaine Sur Deux” (10 songs presented in arranged versions on disc A, and in guitar-voice versions on disc B), scheduled for autumn 2026, which introduces new sounds while respecting the poet's signature. For over twenty-five years, Tété has traversed eras without ever dissolving into them. Folk, blues, pop, electric fables or acoustic purifications: he explores without denying. He tours in the United States, Japan, Canada. He composes for himself and for others. He refuses categories and prefers long trajectories to fleeting trends. After a sold-out acoustic tour in small venues in 2024, the guitar virtuoso returns this year with equally intimate concerts, but this time with a solidarity component focused on single mothers, because a heart that truly loves... doesn't just beat one week out of two.
