A new album, a new tour: the beginning of a new era. 2025 marked a turning point for Triggerfinger, the Antwerp-based band, who are now celebrating a quarter-century in their career. “Stars” received an enthusiastic reception from both old and new fans, opening up unprecedented prospects. The band made its return to the international stage with a successful 25-date tour, with most concerts selling out. Before summer 2026, the band plans to release two new tracks and is preparing for its first festival season in a long time. Their next studio album will be released, the first since Colossus in 2017, and thus the first official album without the presence of Monsieur Paul. Ruben and Mario flew to Los Angeles, where Mitchell Froom gave them a warm welcome. Froom is no stranger to Triggerfinger: on this new recording, he is more involved, encouraging Mario and Ruben to step out of their comfort zone, to explore new ways of composing and to venture into uncharted territory without knowing exactly what the final result would be. Thanks to this new album, Triggerfinger proves that they are back, stronger than ever, and demonstrates that they are one of the rare European rock bands to have weathered fads and trends without ever losing themselves. On stage: expect to find the energy that made their reputation, but with a touch of novelty. The high-calibre musician Geoffrey Burton has now taken over on bass. Geoffrey has collaborated with many great artists, including Ostend's finest Arno, Grace Jones, Iggy Pop, the late Portuguese fado star Misia and many others.
