Born and raised in the vibrant streets of Bobigny, WaïV very early on developed a natural instinct for melody, particularly thanks to his Cameroonian roots. His sound world, which he describes as 'variété mélodie', is a true kaleidoscope blending urban influences, pop melodies, and African rhythms. The Chemin Vert neighbourhood, with its urban rhythms and overflowing energy, was his first audience and main inspiration. From these initial collective experiences an inextinguishable passion for music was born, pushing him to assert his unique talent. Today, WaïV continues his ascent, guided by an insatiable thirst to create and share his voice with the world. Always in search of authenticity, he has managed to impose his own sound universe, marked by the use of 'gue', a Bobigny slang that has become his signature. His lyrics, both raw and melodic, demonstrate a desire to stand out and create music that truly reflects him.

LAB93 is a unique support program dedicated to the emergence of female rappers from the 93 department. After a call for applications, selected artists benefit from a comprehensive development pathway: audition, training, coaching, stage performances, and meetings with music industry professionals.
