About — The artist
Amzik (stylised AmZik) (in Tifinagh: ⴰⵎⵣⵉⴽ) is a Kabyle music and expression group created by two twin brothers and a musician. Their first steps began in Kabylia, inspired by the songs of Idir, Slimane Azem, Matoub Lounès, while also embracing global musical styles.
Between traditional music and new sounds, Amzik's musical style seeks to open up to other influences, with the aim of linking the music of their roots with that from elsewhere.
