About — The artist
Bonbon Vodou is a French musical duo formed in 2015 by singer and percussionist Oriane Lacaille and singer and guitarist JereM (Jérémie Boucris). Their music blends French chanson with Indian Ocean music, particularly Maloya and Séga from Réunion, with lyrics sung in French and Réunion Creole.
The duo has released three albums: African Discount (2017), Cimetière Créole (2021), and Épopée Métèque (2025), as well as an EP, Afrodiziak (2024), recorded with an expanded five-musician line-up under the name « Bonbon Vodou Piment Piment ».
