About — The artist
Pioneer of hard rock alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple wrote some of the foundational pages of the genre: « Smoke on the Water » and its most famous riff in history, « Highway Star », « Child in Time », the mythical live album « Made in Japan »… More than fifty years after « Machine Head », the British band is still touring, Hammond organ and guitars to the fore.
