About — The artist
Katseye (pronounced like 'cat's eye') is an American girl group composed of six members: Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza, Lara Rajagopalan, Yoonchae Jeong, Megan Skiendiel, and Manon Bannerman. The group was formed in 2023 through the competition show Dream Academy, a project resulting from a collaboration between the American branch of the South Korean company Hybe Corporation and the American label Geffen Records, with the aim of creating an international girl group designed to target a global audience and trained using the methods employed in South Korea for K-pop groups.
The group released its first single, Debut, in July 2024 and its first EP in August 2024.
Katseye is nominated at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, taking place in 2026, in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
