Love

Love is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. Primarily active from 1965 and into the early 1970s, Love was initially led by Arthur Lee, a mixed-race singer, guitarist, pianist, harmonica player, and composer, and by guitarist Bryan MacLean.

One of the main characteristics that differentiated Love's music from that of other American pop bands was the fusion of various musical influences, such as rock 'n' roll, garage rock, folk, pop, blues, and psychedelic music. This blending of genres reached its peak in Forever Changes (1967), and their music was thereafter described as baroque pop.

Throughout their career, the band received praise from music critics, but their popular success remained mixed, overshadowed by other bands of the era, such as The Doors. Love and their album Forever Changes, however, are considered cornerstones of psychedelic rock.
