About — The artist
Marie-Paule Belle is a French singer and pianist, born January 25, 1946 in Pont-Sainte-Maxence (Oise). She is known for the song La Parisienne, which she created in 1976, and for her interpretation of Barbara songs. Her lyricists include Michel Grisolia, a childhood friend she met in Nice, Françoise Mallet-Joris, as well as Isabelle Mayereau, Serge Lama, Dominique Valls, Olivier Belle, Pierre Jolivet, Jean-Jacques Thibaud, Pierre Delanoë and William Sheller.
