About — The venue

The Cité du Cinéma is a complex of film studios created and designed by French director and producer Luc Besson, located in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, north of Paris. It is the French equivalent of Cinecittà (Italy), Pinewood (United Kingdom), or Babelsberg (Germany). It was inaugurated on 21 September 2012.

The Cité du Cinéma houses, among other things, the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière, EuropaCorp, and the Studios de Paris.
