About — The venue
La Prairie du Canal is an urban farm and cultural venue founded in 2017, located in Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis.
It occupies a 3,000 m2 industrial wasteland, situated between the Ourcq canal and the N3 national road. Established on the former Motobécane factory site, it was created by the association La Sauge (Société d'Agriculture Urbaine Généreuse et Engagée – Generous and Committed Urban Agriculture Society) as part of a call for projects by the Est Ensemble agglomeration community. Its primary objective is to enable a reconnection with nature and food in an urban environment. The venue also organises cultural and musical events.
