Granny is the matriarch of a tribe. Seated in her wheelchair, she controls her family like Moses led his people across the sea. She passed on everything she knew: the weight of family heritage, traditions, superstitions, guilt, love.
But also the monthly gathering at this karaoke restaurant. Tonight, she isn't there because she has died. Her children and grandchildren are there, for the first time without her. It's here that they sing, but also talk about politics as much as tradition.
