At the crossroads of autobiography and documentary, Jean-Baptiste Tur, co-founder of the company Le Grand Cerf Bleu, embraces his preferred creative tools – a theatre connected to its intuitions, live music and cinema to track reality – and mischievously crafts a tale of escape and return to Occitan lands.

Unveiling and tragedy, the bullfight and its ritualistic power infuse this incandescent and musical show. This is not about rehabilitating a controversial and problematic practice, but about questioning it as a ritual, a tradition.
