From Friday 11 September to Tuesday 10 November 2026 (except Sundays, public holidays, and Saturdays during school holidays) Jointly organised by the Centre culturel de Chine à Paris and the National Museum of China, this exhibition invites you to journey through 10,000 years of Chinese gastronomy.
Over 30 pieces of culinary utensils, combined with immersive digital devices (light animations, virtual reality), trace the art of cooking and banqueting across four thematic sections.
From the earliest cooking hearths of antiquity to refined porcelains, the exhibition reveals how Chinese culinary culture has shaped the concepts of “harmony of the five flavours” and “harmony in diversity”.
Also available by reservation: a lecture by Wang Yueqian, the exhibition curator, as well as fun guided tours for young audiences.
