The Fragments festival allows companies to present an initial stage of their ongoing creation. Thirteen theatres across France partner to sponsor thirteen companies, thereby supporting their professionalisation and the mounting of their production. Alpi by Nelly Pulicani

Inspired by an Envoyé Spécial report, as well as stories, documentaries, films, and encounters, Alpi tells a story set in the high mountains. In January 2018, mountaineers Elisabeth Revol and Tomek Mackiewitz attempted to climb Nanga Parbat, an 8126m mountain, in the middle of winter. Between narrative and fiction, an actress and an actor will attempt, before our eyes, the possibility of this ascent.

By tracing back through history, Lila will try, by repairing the ghosts, to bring her mother back to the living. A three-part saga, transporting us from Paris to Kairouan, to delve into the heart of a multiple identity and the mystery of a common impediment to all the women of the lineage, a patriarchal legacy from which they must free themselves.
