A theatrical, visual and musical show that questions hidden violence within the home.
A powerful tale of emancipation, Tumeur ou Tutu has the effect of an euphoric poetic deflagration.
Between the mother's violent words, the father's disturbing silences, and the outside world's "it's none of our business", the narrator renames the world in her own way to try and understand, giving her voice a unique creative and humorous strength.
The discovery of mathematics and then love will give her the illusion of a resolution.
Blending sensitive embodiment, music and graphic projections, the show invents an intimate encephalogram of this voice, to better draw us into this speech full of life, corrosive humour and self-deprecation. Based on Tumeur ou Tutu by Léna Ghar ©Éditions Gallimard, 2025.
