“N.Ormes” is a circus show through which the duo Agathe & Adrien push the limits and expectations of their own bodies, as well as gender norms. The duo Agathe & Adrien work at the crossroads of circus, dance, and theatre/performance. Provocative, dysfunctional, and tender, their piece leads the spectator to question their own preconceptions. The story features two protagonists and their relationship navigating between complicity and power struggle. Skillfully combining hand-to-hand acrobatics, Icarian games, and dance, the stage becomes an arena. Gradually, archetypes fall, giving way to a quest for friendship, equity, power, and fluidity. With minimalist scenography and Claire Seyller's rich lighting, we follow this relationship through moments of frenzy and exhaustion. Simon Leoza's original score carries us through the intimate and grandiose evolution of the protagonists, where the exchange of roles and lifts blurs all our preconceptions.
