Here are Anvil's words regarding the long-awaited Pounding the Past European tour: we are finally doing it because the opportunity arose. The timing couldn't be better to perform tracks from our first three albums. We are in that rare period between two albums, which gives us the freedom to celebrate the past. Next September, we will record our 21st studio album in Germany, followed by the Pounding the Past tour from October to December 2026. In the company of our friends KILLER from Belgium. Simply METAL at its best.

Hard ‘n’ Heavy Metal On Metal Forged In Fire

Killer is a Belgian trio formed in the early 1980s, originating from Antwerp.

They play in a heavy metal style close to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, with raw and fast energy.

The band was founded by singer and bassist Paul Shorty Van Camp, a central figure in Killer.

Their first album, Ready for Hell, was released in 1981 and became a cult classic in the underground scene.

They followed up with Wall of Sound, which strengthened their reputation in Europe.

Their music is characterised by fast riffs, a very prominent bass, and a rather raw production.

Killer remains less known than some British bands but has a loyal fanbase.

They are often associated with the 80s Belgian metal scene, alongside bands like Ostrogoth.

After several breaks, the band continues to exist with reformations and new albums.

Today, Killer is considered a cult band of European underground heavy metal.
